Our Story
A farm with a name, and a family behind it.
In the late 19th century, Giovanni Olivi (1865–1923) developed the farm on this hilltop near Treia. Oscar Olivi, the last farmer to live here, gave the house its name. Today its old stone walls have been restored with care, so that their story continues.

Before & after.
We found the farmhouse abandoned, its roof falling in. The architects kept its stone walls and built a light, contemporary interior within them.
The restoration
The restoration consolidated the original stone walls and gave the house an earthquake-resistant structure, now hidden behind an all-white interior. Many old olive trees were craned into place around the house.
