THE PROJECT
WE DISCOVERED THIS OLD FARM IN 2005. IT WAS THE LAST RUIN WE VISITED DURING OUR WEEK OF HOUSE HUNTING IN LE MARCHE AND IT WAS THE GOOD ONE. WE DECIDED TO USE THE NAME OF THE MAN WHO TURNED THE DOVECOTE IN OUR LITTLE FARM, GIOVANNI OLIVI (1865-1923).
Casa Olivi is a dream farm with breathtaking views, a protected building set in the gorgeous Marche region. The outside of the house remained true to its origins, while Swiss architects Markus Wespi and Jérôme de Meuron transformed the inside into a stunning and modern space decorated in neutral colours and flooded with light.
THE HOUSE
OUR LEITMOTIV HAS ALWAYS BEEN TO COMBINE THE BEST OF ITALY FROM TRADITION TO MODERNITY. THE VILLA IS A MIX OF ALL THE TALENTS WE CAN FIND IN THIS GORGEOUS REGION.
The house offers 11 sleeps in 5 bedrooms, 4 in the house and 1 in the independent guest house. All bedrooms are en-suite with own bathroom and floor cooling system in the whole Villa. Casa Olivi has everything you could expect in such a luxurious villa, from signature furnishings from international designers to a state of the art kitchen. The exteriors offer a magnificent infinity pool, well-furnished spaces to eat and relax as well as special features such as a Japanese grill and an outside cooking area.

DURING YOUR STAY IN CASA OLIVI, IT WILL BE A PLEASURE TO ORGANIZE FOR YOU VARIOUS ACTIVITIES SUCH AS WINE TASTING IN CASA WITH AMY WADMAN, OUR AMERICAN SOMMELIER, MOZARELLA MAKING DEMONSTRATION WITH CHEF SAMUELE FRASCARELLI OR A PRIVATE MICHELIN STAR DINNER WITH OUR CHEFS ERRICO RECANATI OR MICHELE BIAGIOLA.
What about a day trip with our truffle hunter Alessandro Benvenutti? a few hours walking in the beautiful area of Acqualagna searching for this black and white treasure following by a delicious lunch in Alessandro's kitchen.
Another highlight could be a dinner prepared by Gianna, our Italian cuisinière who excels at cooking the best local dishes such as Lasagna Vincisgrassi or tiramisu.
You can also discover the secrets of Mozzarella making with our Chef and cooking teacher Samuele and even enjoy a fantastic Michelin Star Dinner just at home with one of our two talented Chefs Errico Recanati, Andreina Restaurant, and Michele Biagiola , Signore te ne ringrazi.
Discover the delicious wines from Le Marche with our friend and sommelier Amy Wadman, always a great experience. In the afternoon your sommelier will arrive at Casa Olivi and you will begin your guided tasting of Le Marche. You will learn about the history of winemaking in Italy and Italy’s regions and native grapes before venturing into winemaking in Le Marche with a guided tasting of 4 of the region’s top wines.
Prada and Tod's factory outlets visit in San Eldipio or even a tour in the beautiful city of Macerata are always a great moment of shopping for fashion addicted.
The region stretches for around 100 miles along the Adriatic coast. The undulating hills of its interior are rich farming terrain, and only sparsely peppered with market towns and one-street villages.
For a day trip, the Conero or nearby Portonovo are ideal to discover the perfect beauty of Le Marche and enjoy italian « aperitivi », lunches, romantic dinners on a private boat. The magnificent view of the Riviera del Conero and the Gulf of Numana is included in the program and it is absolutely a stunning way to enjoy the food and a good company. Lunch on board includes antipasti, primo piatto (fresh pasta), main course (fish), dessert, wine and beverage.
Or just explore the Casa Olivi country side in a most delightful way, on horseback! And enjoy the most authentic sights, sounds and smells of Le Marche Region away from the busy cities and finish with a magic night in the Macerata Open Air Opera festival listenning to Verdi.
